Orioles Spring Training Facility

Location Sarasota, Florida Client Sarasota County Services Capital Project Management & Owners Representation FFE & OSE Procurement Industries Sports & Recreation IFG was selected as the Owner’s Representative to Sarasota County for the design and construction of the Spring Training Facility for the Baltimore Orioles. IFG represented Sarasota County by coordinating the efforts of multiple design and construction teams to maximize the value of the County’s $31.2 million investment. The stadium renovations included upgrades of fan amenities, expanded concourses, press/suite facilities and improved team support resulting in an increased seating capacity to nearly 9,000 total seats. The project also included a 35,000-square-foot state-of-the-art clubhouse, a 25,000-square-foot minor league clubhouse at the Twin Lakes Park Complex. The renovated ballpark opened in the Spring, 2011.
