Location Cincinnati, OH Client Cincinnati Reds Services Capital Project Management & Owners Representation FFE & OSE Procurement Industries Sports & Recreation IFG served as Owner’s Representative to the Cincinnati Reds during the design and construction of the new river front ballpark. Since the Reds were responsible for all costs that exceeded the $280 million budget, IFG’s primary responsibility was to manage and limit this exposure. IFG was retained at the completion of the design development phase to assist the County with the development and execution of the design and construction agreements, oversee the completion of construction documents, provide construction oversight. IFG also coordinated the direct purchase of food service equipment, furniture, playing field and video displays on behalf of the Reds. The ballpark includes 42,000 seats, 63 private suites, 2,000 club seats, a private stadium club, restaurant and a separate 30,000 square foot Hall of Fame. Designed by HOK Sport (Populous) and constructed by Hunt Construction Group, the ballpark opened in April 2003.
